NACHO VERGARA is a Spanish artist based in Madrid. His main form of expression is painting, with preference to figurativism, although he has explored many other ways of painting, ike abstraction or glitch art. He has had the chance to study with international masters such as Antonio López, Odd Nerdrum or Golucho among others. His interest in Chinese culture took him to apply and receive a grant at the Yu Hsiu museum in Taiwan from april to may of this year. Thanks to his skills, he has been interviewed along some world-wide known curators, such as Fernando Castro Florez. His work has been selected for many exhibitions, winning many awards such as the first prize in Catedra Antonio Lopez Ciudad de Albacete, 2015; first prize of Andres Ibañez and Antonio Lopez Workshop Olula del Rio 2016; First prize Catedra ciudad de Avila 2014; and also the Acquisition Prize at Albacete Biennale 2016.
